Lady Justice and the Cat edition by Robert Thornhill Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks
This is the first book by Robert Thornhill that I have read. Overall, I enjoyed it.There were some moments in the book that did make me feel a bit like I was on the outside of the story and not immersed in it. It reminded me a little of being a newcomer in restaurant where everyone's known each other for years. The author did give some backstory details. There were many books in the series before this one, so I guess it's understandable.
Clarence was completely believable, which was what made his interactions with Walt so much fun. The story, or the two stories, were interesting and had plenty of excitement. I wasn't sure how I felt about all the little photos scattered throughout the book at first, but by the end I really liked them. There is some violence and language, neither of which seemed excessive to me. Would probably be a PG film, PG-13 would be a stretch.
I look forward to reading more stories by this author. Hope it's not too much to wish that Clarence makes a cameo appearance here and there.

Lady Justice and the Cat edition by Robert Thornhill Mystery Thriller Suspense eBooks Reviews
This story of Clarence the cat, while a good story, wasn’t as impressive as the other stories in the series. However, the places the cat led them, and the manner they kept finding was unusual. Good story overall.
I have been a fan of Robert Thornhill and this series for a long time and it is always a joy to read. The Author manages to incorporate what is usually going on in the world into his stories along with plenty of humor and his wonderful motley crew of helpers, this time they are also being helped by Clarence the cat. This story is no different, it moves at a quick pace with plenty of action. As usual very entertaining and my favorite part is that our hero's are all older.
Lady Justice and the Cat is a FABULOUS book! I read it in practically one sitting today. As the caretaker of several cats I caught myself laughing out loud at Clarence's antics and photos. That might not have been so bad if I hadn't been sitting in the doctor's waiting room full of people. It was worth every minute and every strange look. I found myself showing the gentleman next to me the photos of Clarence. He reminded me quite a bit of Walt!
I have already picked out 2 more Lady Justice books. Thank you Mr. Thornhill for making my doctors visit easier to bear.
(Originally posted on Audible.com) The author provided me with a complimentary copy of this audiobook with no expectation of a review. I'm a cat person so lots of stuff in this book rang very true. I won't spoil it for you but if you are a cat lover (or know someone who is) you'll find yourself chuckling at many of the things that happen in this book. There are also many non-cat related laughable moments as well.
Walt and his muttley crew get involved in yet another adventure. This time Walt and his honey end up with a cat. I loved the interaction between Walt and the cat. Not being a cat person I totally related to his treatment by the cat. This was a cute addition to the story line. Once again George Kuch is the narrator again he is wonderful. I don't think I could listen to this book read by anyone else. In fact I read this book on my kindle a few months ago and in my head I heard George's voice -)
I had just finished reading a trilogy that I had to struggle to complete and I was was looking for something easy to read and funny when I ran across this little book. It was short, which I really didn't expect, and funny. The main characters are a bunch of senior retired folk who seem to fall into situations that need fixing. In this book, the added menace is in the form of Clarence the cat. I found it endearing that the book is illustrated with small pictures of a white-pawed tabby cat who expresses emotions very well. You can get your daily fix of chuckles here!

I love these books! This one is different in two ways; it is a bit shorter, and the excitement is sequential like a spine rather than twined together. A treasure hunting geologist implanted a device in his cat which helps track the man's murderers and later a member of Walt's loose knit family. Walt simply has never been a pet person, but wife Maggie liked the tomcat. Let the fun stuff begin!
If you choose audio, know that the narrations by George Kuch are very adaptable for speed.
